Biography

Dr. Reninger was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his medical doctorate from Drexel College of Medicine which he attended on a health professions scholarship through the U.S. Navy. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, he practiced General Internal Medicine at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. He left to attend a fellowship program in Medical Hematology-Oncology at Shands at the University of Florida. Dr. Reninger practiced Hematology and Oncology at the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth where he served as division head and was actively involved in medical education and clinical research. He received numerous accolades during his tenure including a commendation medal for meritorious service. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.

Dr. Reninger enjoys all aspects of clinical practice in Hematology and Oncology and has special interests in genitourinary, gastrointestinal, breast, prostate, and pancreatic cancers.  He is a board member for both the PA Prostate Coalition Coalition and the Medical Group of Pennsylvania.

He resides in Enola with his wife and two children.
